Teta Soup will always be a staple at Sara's Soups. (simple Syrian lentil)
This was my daughter Zoah’s favorite soup. It is simple and comforting. The recipe comes from Zoah’s Syrian grandmother Amal, who she called “Teta”. It is great for all ages and helps with constipation. It comes with spiced oil for those who want a bit of a kick.
Ingredients:
Red lentils, onion, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, Aleppo pepper oil (EVOO, Aleppo pepper chili spice blend from Syria, red chili pepper, garlic, shallots, bay leaves, a pinch of salt and sugar)
Spice level- soup: no spice, chili oil:🌶️🌶️

Orders made by Saturday at midnight will be available for pick-up Tuesday (9 am-4 pm OR 4 pm- 9 pm) at 967 Broadview Ave - unless otherwise arranged.
You will receive an e-mail when your order is ready for pick-up. You will find your order outside the side door in the coolers. Please sign upon pick-up.
If you cannot pick-up during the pick-up window, don't hesitate to get in touch with me through the website or 416-899-3761 to arrange another pick-up day/time or arrange delivery at an additional cost.
